Fine and Rare Official Chinese/Manchu Men’s Court Boots Stamped Inside Antique

Listed here is a fine pair of black silk boots for a Chinese/Manchu official, part of the complete official costume. These are a bit in the small side so might have been made for the son of an official . The soles show signs of wear and use. The upper part of the boots is in very fine condition. These have some sort of red stamp on the inside lining and remnants of a paper label with Chinese characters list of which are missing. I’m guessing this indicated the shop the produced items of official court costumes. They measure 9.5 inches toe to heel and approx 9.5 inches tall.
