Old Chinese embroidered silk gauze roundel with spiders

Welcome! For auction is this old Chinese embroidered silk gauze small roundel. Overall with the later added border it measures appx. 7 1/8 - 7 3/8". Some scattered loose/missing threads. Gauze ground has a few tears which are coming up in a few places. Unusual and charming work featuring two spiders amongst fruit. Side of one pomegranate with some tears to embroidery which have come up in a few places. One of these is evident right next to one of the spiders. General wear, light soiling, dirt and fading. Creases and wrinkles. Colors a bit darker in person. Please see images for details.
