Gift box is poor with stains and marks inside and out.
This pastel grey Snorkel Saratoga pen and pencil set is in excellent restored condition. There are no cracks, chips, or dings. In short, there are no flaws.
This particular pen writes exceptionally well.
The gift box unfortunately is poor with stains and marks inside and out (please see the photos).
Saratoga models have a gold-filled 1/4" cap band and clip and a solid 14k gold, two-tone traditional open nib with platinum mask.
I will include a photocopy of an original Sheaffer Snorkel instructions leaflet.
All restorations include
disassembly, cleaning,
replacement of all seals and the sac,
smoothing and adjusting the nib,
refinishing the plastic, stainless steel, and gold-filled surfaces,
filling the pen with ink (not just dipping)
and producing multiple writing samples over 2 days (like the ones in the photos).
I guarantee the pens I restore write smoothly and fill as designed.
